Some Key Initiatives: Leadings for Constructive Engagement Toward Conscious Direct Action
In four years, lay the groundwork for and implement as possible:
* Peaceful prevention of war and violence, * Implement Millennium Development Goals 2025 * Peaceful elimina tion of poverty,hunger,homelessness, land-less ness/ beings without habitat, lost livelihoods and unemployment...... * Conscientious protection of our planet * Build on the Climate Justice Movement and Cochabamba Climate Conference proceedings. * Water and Climate/atmosphere....., become sacred commons Manage atmospheric carbon to 350ppm, (now at 392ppm) and to 1 deg.C temperature rise. * Spread bioregional regeneration, consciousness, and hands-on capacity building, available to everyone in all watershed communities * Fully engage the indigenous cultures of the world and their elders to create together, regenerative cultures of peace and co-operation * Create Permaculture learning centers accessible in all communities and create new regenerative communities and economy/s * For all local communities, and growers to become highly resilient, self-reliant and sufficient * Appropriate accountability for destructive behaviors * Well being for all in the new emerging commons
Some Possible Pathways: toward a 4 Year Great Turning Index (GTI), Outcomes and Metrics
Paradigm,Population, food and energy are deeply embedded above and need great care and attention! What Primary sources exist or will We Need to Co-create for The "Dashboard "array and website(s) to help ensure WE.....Ubuntu...., Achieve OUR 4 YEAR GOAL(S) ?
* Population stabilization, slow the increase..... * Atmosphere/climate stabilization, slow the rate of rise of all atmospheric pollutants.... * Housing/building/architecture sector: ARCHITECTURE 2030 CHALLENGE AND 2010 IMPERATIVE, plus foodscape/ landscape environmental resource assessments and audits, ecological footprint analysis,US GREEN Building Council, Leed certification and beyond, deep energy and water retrofits, permaculture design, regenerative design, natural building.... * Transportation sector: strategic conservation, shrink the long links in all necessary movement, localize/regionalize production and consumption, create regenerative human settlements, rural, urban and suburban.... vehicle re-concept/speed/scale/energy/bio-traction.... * food system/security/regeneration, bring it home to the people..... * Water security conservation/regeneration, bring it home to the people.... * World Military and Social expenditures....reverse..... * Women and Youth empowerment, skilling/reskilling for sustainable/regenerative development.... * Liberation from all forms of slavery and oppressive behaviors.... * Social,ecological,spiritual and economic well-being, rise...... * Celebrations, Love, Joy and Happiness and fun, on continuous rise....
Some new concepts being discussed:
A "Dashboard"/ "control panel", heads-up display, for our FYG website to provide us all, an up to the moment interactive, " pulse of the planet," data base, for all major dynamics, both positive integral healing, and devolutionary points of reference. Some existing models suggested include: HPI, Happy Planet Index and the Population Earth Clock. Another strong suggestion, is to create a GTI, Great Turning Index, Fits well with dashboard and steering function....maybe easier to empower motor culture to.... also consider Buckmeister Fuller's "trim tab principle", for the initial "turn around" while we prepare for a "softer landing" , and for transport systems..., (re-design reduce, rescale, repower..). Much design and content clarification is needed if we are to implement this. So, lets consider any of this post as a fresh opportunity for conversation to move and grow forward toward HOME, together. All comments and critiques welcome! The creation of a campaign meme sounds quite encouraging! Discussion underway.
The New Universe Story, The Great Turning and Great Work...... "We are the ones we have been waiting for"......"Outcomes" as ongoing co-evolutionary transformational processes.....toward true earth democracies---justice,sustainability,peace, equity and equality for all....nurturing communities of conscious evolution in all of our watersheds as, basins of all relations.....

* Affirm and co-create with, GENERAL EVOLUTIONARY MODALITIES/MODELS ,(GEMS) in conscious, regenerative and congruent harmony with cosmic, universe and earth processes. Example: photosynthesis, honoring non-gmo plant and animal DNA....a primary foundation of bioregional living, biological and cultural integrity, diversity, stability and resilience therefore, (get out and stay out of the nucleus, (food and energy)...., with very limited exceptions). As a modest and vital step, Water is and shall be perpetually, a sacred commons available to all! Save, grow out and make universally available the seeds that remember, the soils and forests that they came from. Learn : radical simplicity, sufficiency, small is beautiful, possible and necessary,Indigenous wisdom and conscious practice, permaculture/design and related healing arts and science,Community self reliance, Appropriate technology.....etc.! Organize and inhabit bioregions, watersheds and foodsheds. Co-create with and strengthen the Transition movement: "From oil dependency to local resilience".....convert to clean, safe conservation, efficiency and fully integrated renewable energy and regenerative agricultural local/regional economies, accessible to all. Land access/ reform as needed. * 350 ppm atmospheric carbon baseline as permanently managed planetary set point. Current level: 392 ppm * Honor, learn from and be in right relations with Mother Earth and re-establish all Her rights. * Honor, learn from and be in right relations with the Indigenous peoples of the world and re-establish all of their rights, as sisters and brothers of one family. * Transformation of our inner landscapes, toward becoming truly loving and wise beings. * Stop cutting, mining and drilling in the ancient and new ancient forests.....! so that we may affirm and strengthen all our relations and all Become Kin in the Landscape of our larger self, starting now, and growing Home, over the next 30,000 years; the Condor and the Eagle in deep regenerative synergy. * Among top priorities are: outreach and regenerative Community design and community centered economic development to and for the "climate and economic refugees": especially women, children and youth - nurtured, supported and lovingly integrated into existing, "retrofitted" and new "ecological neighborhoods", "solar villages and, extended family small farms", everywhere as needed. Root solutions engaged for all, of, by and for the Earth Family. ASAP! * consider the Gulf of Mexico the catastrophe....the grieving,..... and the Transformational opportunities at hand! * consider :The World People's Conference on Climate Change and The Rights of Mother Earth, Cochabamba, Bolivia, 4/10, proceedings, and action plan, and The Anchorage Declaration, Spring 2009.....
I deeply appreciate the spirit and extraordinary presence and commitment of all of you in this labor of Love for our Larger Self....and the Earth Family. This is a rough first pass. Let's share our deepest sense of the moment, the "eternal now", and together create and nurture the "Dream of the Earth".....
